In a recent assignment, I was recruited to lead a troubled business, Jore Corporation, a $50 million power tool accessory manufacturer into and out of Chapter 11 protection. The exit culminated with the successful sale of the company, saving over 300 jobs, and giving many of the creditors and suppliers the opportunity to recover their losses over time with a viable growing business.
I have operational experience dealing with major retail and industrial companies including Sears, The Home Depot, Lowes, Wal-Mart, Ace Hardware, other box stores and coops, as well as Boeing, Lockheed, Sikorsky and other large industrial companies. Successfully mixing a combination of offshore-sourced products, USA-manufactured products and cultivating effective partnership and licensing agreements, I have taken products to market under the Ryobi, Hitachi, Stanley, Craftsman, Makita, Porter Cable and in-house proprietary brands.
